HMC Cannot Connect Issue (4.0 only)

If you are still on the old HMC system, and are having an issue where the system will not process users. 

We made a change recently to our firewall rules which may cause issues with it.

 

Change the web.config, and replace the following.

 

        <addkey="ReportServiceURL"value="http://216.55.85.177"/>

        <addkey="ReportService2URL"value="http://69.213.30.155"/>

 

With

 

        <addkey="ReportServiceURL"value="http://Rpt1.extendasp.net"/>

        <addkey="ReportService2URL"value="http://Rpt2.extendasp.net"/>

 

 After making the change, just go to Site Variables, and hit Update.
